- Hydraulic Remote Control comes standard on this model.
- Use your own 8" stroke cylinder to open and close the seed gate from your tractor seat.
- A quick-hitch can be used with this one.
- Heavy-duty independent stand and carrying frame.
- Hopper is 14 gauge steel with full welded seams and good slant for self-cleaning.
- Heavy cast-iron gearbox has tapered roller bearings, drop-forged gears and is filled with gear oil.
- Gearbox is standard for 540 rpm, but can be ordered for 1,000 rpm tractors also.
- Shielded power take-off shaft with replaceable universal bearings.
- Rotating agitator for even feeding. Heavy-duty corrosion resistant aluminum alloy fan with replaceable blades.
- Spread pattern easily centered by adjustable base plate.
- Amounts can be controlled from 3 lbs to 1,000 lbs.
- Uniform spreads up to 40 ft. Weight of material determines width of spread.

- Lime Agitator...for spreading dolomite and dehydrated lime. Not recommended for wet lime.
- Small Seed Hopper...To use on Model 2440, the #1037 Nose Extension and #1039 Control Kit are needed.
- Hydraulic Motor...#248 Hydraulic motor and valve available to power gearbox instead of PTO shaft.
- Regular Trailer...#268 Basic regular trailer frame w/45" PTO shaft, tongue jack and two 15 wheels (less tires).
- Orchard Trailer...#269 If trailer is desired with banding kits - this one must be used.
- Parts Kit...#1035 to complete mounting to trailer. *Comes standard when seeder & trailer are ordered together.
- Rear Discharge only Banding Kit...#275 (Gearbox must be set at 1000 RPM but run at 540 RPM)
- Left Side only Banding Kit...#276 (No modification Needed)
- Hydraulic controlled Banding Kit...#225 (Requires 1137 PLUS kit)
- 225 Manual Banding Kit, (uses two separate manual levers - One controls right side, one controls left side.)
